Who are we?
We are a family business – our owner started the business in 1998, and at that time all China’s plastic casings were monolayer, and multilayer casings had to be imported from Japan or Europe.He purchased the first 5 layer multilayer casing line from Europe, started the business, and soon had a monopoly of the market.Then of course, everyone started copying the technology and soon we had to find new business opportunities, and this is why we started the shrink bags.
In 2005, we moved to Haimen city, which is 2 hours driving from Shanghai, mainly because there is not enough room to expand at our old site, and also because we are exporting a lot more. Being closer to Shanghai means we have better access to customers and ports.
In 2013, we invested in the first 9 layer triple bubble extrusion line in Asia. Since we put different resins in each layer, having more layers mean we can add more functionality to the film. Higher barrier, better sealing, moisture proof, better puncture etc.
In 2018, we have added PVDC extrusion to our company – and with this IPE will become one of a handful of companies that is able to offer the full range of barrier shrink products including casings, shrink films, and shrink bags.

We do it in 3 steps:
1.Production – 1.All our resins are imported – its not because local resins are not good, but they are not CONSISTENTLY good. Whereas we understand that packaging cost only 0.5 cents, but the product inside our package costs USD50, so we are very careful with our resin choice, and we know that companies who order from us are placing their trust in us, and we never want to let them down. 2.As mentioned before, all the technology we invest in is leading edge, and we are an innovative company 2.Management – we have a rigorous QC program, and we use BRC as a guiding system in our management practice. It includes all areas of our production and management, and has both process and end control elements and we have protocols in place for all situations such as how we should handle production mistakes, how to handle scrap material etc. We have consistently achieved A grade, and 2018 we have been requested to do unannounced audit, which means inspectors do not have to give any notice and they can come at anytime to inspect our factory and we will be doing what we are supposed to be doing.
3.Traceability – we have complete tracing recall system. On every single product we send you, it will have a batch number, and we are able to trace back fully to each worker, each line, each resin batch, all within 2 hours. In addition, we have ½ m retained sample from every single masterroll being kept in our factory for up to 2 years, so if ever you come across any problems, and you are able to provide the batch number and carton number, we can take this sample and analyze to see what the problem is. ●
Of course, finally we have experienced sales staff who we call technical sales to help look after you.
